Austin, TX-based Terri Fann is coffeehouse country: acoustic guitar, rhythm, harmonies, and meaty lyrics. She is a warm stage presence and a polite professional.
Terri picked up piano at 4, flute at 10, and in high school led the flute section and choreographed the flag corps’ routines. After college she taught country dance, learned guitar, and began writing. By 30 a decision to quit smoking revealed an on-pitch, multi-octave voice that led her to sing first sorprano in civic and church choirs, record alto lead and back-up vocals for-hire, and solo on stages in TX and TN.
Today, her singer-songwriter resume includes a variety of venues, “performed withs,” publishing contracts, awards, cuts, and songs. She also does environmental work and occasionally writes reviews and how-to articles for magazines.
Her set includes country, folk, pop, oldies, gospel, holiday, and original material suitable for family-friendly or adult-only events: indoor or outdoor restaurants, weddings, pubs, stores, school festivals, coffee houses, and outdoor markets/festivals.
